Swamp Thing

Swamp Thing. Really that's all I need to say. I have been in love with Scott Snyder's Swamp Thing since issue 1 so I'm sad to see him leave the title.

Nova Pen Drawing

I was bored at work so I decided to do a pen drawing of the new Nova. I really like Richard Rider but it looks like this new kid is here to stay for now. Hopefully he's the next Wally West or Kyle Rayner, but only time will tell. That being said I really enjoyed Nova #1 by Jeph Loeb. He has kind of been crap lately but the first issue I found to be pretty good. I hope it continues!

Cyborg Drawing

This is a drawing I did of DC's Cyborg a little while back. I was trying to do it Jack Kirby style but I'm afraid I might of made him disproportionate. But I hope you guys like it. Cyborg is quickly becoming one of my favorite heroes thanks to Johns' Justice League.

The Modern Hyperion

You know who's costume is outdated? Hyperion's. So I decided to give it a newer look. The bands around his lower arms are supposed to be like Namor's bracelets or Shazam's. I also apologize for the hands, as I have said I am no artist and it shows in my drawings. But I hope you enjoyed this. Be on the lookout for more soon!

Sorry I've Been Gone

So it has been quite a while since I posted on here. In fact it has been over a year. So I'm back, but different. From now on this blog will be dedicated to drawings from my sketch book. So on this wonderful Friday afternoon I come to you with some sketchs from my sketchbook. Please note that I am only sixteen and an amateur. Also sorry for the low image quality.

After seeing a lot of hate towards the new design for Mr. Freeze I decided to make my version of him for the new 52.

I LOVE the current story arc in the Batman comic right now, which is why I drew this.

Who would you cast?

      Today I am introducing a new segment called who would you cast? where I tell you who I would cast for my favorite super heroes and heroines. First up is Bruce Wayne, Alfred Pennyworth, and Commissioner James Gordon.

Eric Bana - Bruce Wayne

    I first thought about this after seeing Hanna. In the movie Bana plays a super spy that just wants his daughter to be safe. Throughout the film Bana is quite the badass. In addition Bana has acted in super hero movies before so it wouldn't be too much of a jump for him. He also looks a lot like Bruce Wayne.
